From approximately 2500BC Ireland had a wealth of skilled crafters creating bronze ornaments and utensils. Jeanne Rynhart was one of Ireland’s most respected and innovative bronze sculptors, and well known for some of Ireland's most famous public sculptures, such as Molly Malone, Annie Moore and the Rose of Tralee. Her work captures Irish heritage in stunning Irish ornaments and gifts for the home.
Keeping that tradition alive today is Jeanne’s daughter Audrey who runs the business with her husband in Glengarriff, a small village and popular tourist spot with spectacular scenery in West Cork. We are excited to share with you this selection of Rynhart bronze works, which keep treasured Irish cultural artifacts contemporary.
