About Jonathan Richard
Founded in 1924 in County Dublin by a tailor named Jonathan and a marketer named Richard, the duo's elegant hats evoke the best of traditional Donegal Tweed design that continues to be popular to this day. First located in Merchants Quay, they later moved to Ballyfermot to a bigger workshop. Jonathan Richard caps have been featured in Hollywood block busters as well as being sported by many celebrities! We have visited the workshop many times and love to witness the making of so many styles of Irish flat caps. To this day, the skilled craftsmen at their workshop continue to make 100% of their hats and caps in Dublin.
