My Trip To The Celtic Cross
As part of my Story of Ireland series, I travelled up to County Sligo at the Wild Atlantic Way to explore the Celtic cross of Drumcliffe. From the midlands where I am from, it takes about three hours to drive up. I travel through Offaly, Longford, and Mayo. I
The sun was shining and there was no better day to capture the best shots of the skillfully carved cross. am baffled by how proudly it can still stand stall against all the years of weathering. In my video you will see and hear all about it! Enjoy!

Our makers have been inspired to create beautiful gifts inspired by these Celtic crosses. Have a look at our Mullingar Pewter Clonmacnoise cross statue, our Bog Buddies from cross, and our Wild Goose cross plaques. We also carry a lovely range of replica cross necklaces which are scale models of our Celtic crosses!
