Irish Crisp Sandwich

Irish Crisp Sandwich

Hello everyone!

Well, when I was growing up, my mothers treat was a crisp sandwich. We love them. And I can't say I'd ask for one in a cafe but I'm prone to breaking open a bag of tayto at home and a slice of bread.

All I need is a bag of Tayto crisps, a sliced pan of Pat the Baker, Dairygold butter, accompanied with a nice cup of Barry's tea!

Have a look at how to make the legendary Irish crisp sandwich.

We also refer to it by the Tayto crisp sandwich and in America, everyone says chips instead of crisps! Let know know what you think, and maybe you have another type of crisp you prefer?

Slán for now!

Not for me, but no judgement here. Whatever makes you happy!
    Perhaps an Irish stew next?

We would have peanut butter, banana and potato chips. Sometimes add jam too.
    Never had it with butter.

I haven’t made one with Tayto’s in a lot of years. The chips in the States are not like the crisps at home. Thank you for the memory

Remember eating those in the late 50s early 60s. Great sandwich. 🇮🇪🇺🇸
