All You Need To Know About Irish Turf

All You Need To Know About Irish Turf

Hello everyone!

It's the time of the year again for the cutting and the harvesting of the turf. So I thought I'd make a little video of my own experience of bringing in the turf. I come from the midlands of Ireland from Offaly. Some people call it the bog, because, well it is the bog of Ireland! The area I live is called the Bog of Allen.

Every year, we bring in our own turf so that we get to heat our home and we always enjoy, not only the warmth, but the unique smell of an Irish turf fire.

Have a look at my video for more.

I am delighted to also bring you this lovely unique gift of Ireland. It is a little ceramic Irish pub, containing a piece of Irish turf that you can burn gently and let the waft of the countryside of Ireland fill your home!

Shop this incense burner here.

Slán for now,

Aidan
